Leather vase
Leather Vase investigates what happens when a soft, familiar material is shaped through a process usually associated with plastic. Vacuum forming gives the leather a more fixed and architectural presence, while still allowing its surface quality to remain visible.
The project is a material experiment as much as a product. It tests how process can shift the behaviour and expectation of a traditional craft material.
